    VAFF Events presents MIND YOUR BID-NESS Auction Party

    *VAFF wants to thank everyone especially the LIVE Auction participants for helping to make our very first Hot Auction Party a resounding SUCCESS! Attendees had a riot outbidding each other for these fabulous personalities and amazing silent auction items. Thank you to Kevin Lim from Virgin Radio 95.3 FM for MCing the event with our own Pennylane Shen while entertaining the crowds. Check out some of the pictures from the evening.

    What is Mind Your Bid-Ness?

    Mind Your Bid-Ness is a one-of-a-kind massively hot Auction Party, presented by the Vancouver Asian Film Festival as one of its annual fundraising events.

    For one night only, tons of goods, fun services, performances & persons (yup, people) are auctioned off to the highest bidders. Register for a Bidding Paddle and shout out your bids at the LIVE AUCTION. It’s going to be loud and hilarious. Followed by a raucous dance party DJ’ed by Tyler Fedchuk, the fun continues all night long.

    Oh, and there’s a SILENT AUCTION as well! Walk around and bid on items including food and wine, electronics, local and handmade art and clothing. And throughout the venue, photographers, makeup artists, magicians, bakers will be roaming the floors, keeping you busy.

    Get a new outfit or your date for the weekend off our live auction, where local personalities will be auctioning off their skills and services. How many dollars will it take for an Elvis to perform for you? How badly do you want your taxes done next year? How much would you pay a personal chef or mixologist for a day? It’s all up to you on Wednesday, August 25th at the Biltmore Cabaret!
