East West, Left Right, the search for where one belongs and the values that one holds is a universal struggle for people in all stages of life. What happens when a young Asian girl, raised only within her native country and familiar with only her culture, explores the world? What will she discover? What trials will she go through in such a strange country and how will she ever fit in? AH X compares the country she was born in and the one she lives in, as she struggles to find her place in the world. Then in MR. CINEMA, a sentimental father’s belief in leftist values alienates his son.

Zhou (Anthony WONG) is a pro-communist working as a projectionist at a local leftist cinema. However, his love for mainland China and his belief in its values become the cause of alienation between Zhou and his own son Chong (Ronald Cheng). As Hong Kong changes through the decades, the hardships of life eventually take an irreversible toll on Zhou’s family. MR. CINEMA is both a touching and sentimental look at Hong Kong and a loving homage to its hard working people
